Is ACT Independent?

The Association for Computers & Taxaction (ACT) is a nonprofit, national organization designed to assist members in identifying and solving the problems involved in automating the corporate tax function. It is a forum for sharing information about tax systems within the corporate tax environment. We accomplish this by publishing newsletters, sponsoring conferences and meetings throughout the year, and providing a forum for our members to meet fellow corporate tax and technology professionals to exchange information on automation needs. Our membership includes users of all commercially available tax software packages, as well as users of home-grown tax software.
