Join us at the Annual Corporate Tax Forum co-hosted by Thomson Reuters being held October 24 in New York City!

At this Forum, you will have an opportunity to network with other Corporate Tax and Tax Technology Professionals, as well as discuss some of the most pressing issues facing Corporate Tax today.


The opening presentation will be "Leveraging GenAI For Enhanced Tax Efficiency and Strategic Insights" led by Paul Mattiola, ACT Past President and Chris Reich, VP of Product Management, Thomson Reuters. This presentation will focus on and will identify practical uses cases of GenAI in tax and accounting, explore why centralized tax technology and data is crucial for successful implementation of GenAI, and share insights on best practices for harnessing the power of GenAI to boost efficiency.

 

You will also be able to participate in a roundtable moderated by Jesse Shannon (Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Thomson Reuters) and hear about some of the cutting-edge research tools and techniques that your peers are using.

 

To wrap up the presentations, you will also hear from Al Bradley, ACT Current President and Director HUB-US Tax Operations, Air Liquide/Airgas, Inc. and Kelley Lear, VP Partnerships & Alliances, Thomson Reuters as they present "Overcoming Talent Shortages in Tax". They will discuss tax and talent by the numbers, how GenAI can automate routine tasks to free up time for strategic roles and identify value-added opportunities for your business through AI.

There is no charge for this Forum, but we ask that you inform ACT of any cancellation as soon as possible, as space is limited. It is open to all Corporate Tax Professionals that are Regular ACT Members or are eligible for Regular Membership. A light breakfast and lunch will be served. You are welcome and encouraged to enjoy lunch with the other attendees and continue to network and ask questions after the event has officially ended. You will also have an opportunity to speak with Thomson Reuters representatives during this time to ask questions and learn about their solutions.


Presenters:

 

Al Bradley, Air Liquide / Airgas Inc. – ACT President: Al has been with ACT for 16 years and is currently the President of the organization. He has also served as Vice President. Prior to joining the Executive Board, he was one of the ACT Program Committee Co-Chairs responsible for planning the Annual Conference. Al is the Director of Tax Operations and Technology for the Air Liquide Americas HUB (including Airgas Inc). He focuses on Tax Operations, Technology, ERP Transformation Initiatives, Process Automation/Efficiencies, and Tax Audit Support for the Air Liquide Americas HUB. He has held other positions as Principal Tax Technology Consultant, Transfer Pricing Manager, Tax Technology/Tax Accounting Manager, and Senior International Tax Analyst. Al has a B.S. in Finance from Drexel University and a M.S. in Taxation from Thomas Jefferson University (fka Philadelphia University). He is also Six Sigma Certified. 

 Paul Mattiola, ACT - Past President: Paul has been a member of ACT for 24 years. Before becoming a Past President of ACT, Paul served in many capacities within our organization. He served as President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Program Committee Chair. Paul is also the Senior Director-TaxData Solutions for Verizon Communications. Paul has over 30 years of corporate tax department experience including tax compliance, tax process automation, tax system implementation and tax data solutions. Prior to Verizon, Paul was the AVP – Director of Income Tax Compliance at CIT Group Inc. Paul previously worked at AT&T where he was the Director of Federal Tax Consolidations.
 Chris Reich, Vice President of Product Management - Indirect Tax, Thomson Reuters: Chris leads the Indirect Tax team at Thomson Reuters In this role he works with clients, regimes, technologist and partners around the globe creating solutions to real problems in the ever-changing landscape of indirect tax and compliance. Chris has been with Thomson Reuters since 2015. Chris has over 25 years of experience successfully delivering enterprise software applications. Prior to Thomson Reuters Chris held a number of Product Management roles at Intuit Inc. Chris has a BA from Lewis and Clark College and an MBA from the University of Oregon.
 Kelley Lear, Vice President of Partnerships & Alliances, Thomson Reuters: Kelley is a seasoned finance and tax transformation expert with 20+ years of experience. As Vice President of Partnerships & Alliances at Thomson Reuters for the past decade, she leverages strategic partnerships with industry giants like SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft to drive value for clients through automation, AI, and efficiency  improvements. Her expertise spans all tax types, process optimization, and data strategies. Kelley's impressive career, including leadership roles at prominent firms and a Project Management certification, makes her a sought-after and compelling speaker.
