We are in our final planning stages for the 2018 Annual Conference being held May 21-23, 2018 in San Diego, California. We will be having speakers from all of the country at the conference discussing topics such as robotics process automation, A.I. in tax, analytic tools for tax, Blockchain, operational transfer pricing, best practices in a digital world, SharePoint, and how the tax role of the Tax Professional is changing. Mark you calendars now so you don't miss this event! 

 

Are you interested in shaping the future of ACT? ACT is also currently looking for volunteers for several of our Committees. ACT relies heavily on volunteers to guide our Committees.  Mia Nguyen, Applied Materials

Mia is the Tax Technology Manager at Applied Materials with several areas of expertise, including tax technology, Corptax and SharePoint. She has been at Applied Materials for 11 years and has been affiliated with ACT for about four years. Mia also shared with us some examples of how her company has used technology to streamline processes within the tax department.
